 | About MeI'm a small girl with big dreams. I love dancing, singing, nature and animals. Right now I have a pet fish named Blue Dragon (Blue for short) and a rabbit named Bella. I'm very interested in Wolves and the Lynx so I'm learning as much as I can about them. Did you know that both of these animals live in Alaska? So when I found out that I was going there as a student ambassador with the People to People organization.......well, you can imagine how excited I was, and still am. I'll be going with about 30 other kids my age. We will get to see firsthand and learn about the Salmon fisheries, the sled dogs and whales, and all the other wild animals. I'll be learning how to cook seafood, and talking to the native Eskimo people in the area. This is my first big trip and I can't wait. I'm counting down the days until I go. I hope that this trip will lead to many more. Who knows... maybe I'll end up traveling around the world as a student ambassador! Guess what...I've added gifts for people who donate through my GoFundMe account! My goal is to raise $1,000 total this way. Can you help? |

June 18th Update
I have some great news! A little while ago, I entered to win a $500 scholarship. I had to write a long essay about my trip and why I should should be chosen to get the $500. Then, a couple of days ago, I got a letter in the mail. It was from the Ohio Association for Gifted Children. The letter came with a note saying that I did a great job on the essay. They told me "We applaud the abilities, achievements and passion for learning you have demonstrated." My letter also came with a $500 check! I was so happy that I got more money to go towards my Alaska trip! That work really paid off!

I Had my project fair this weekend for People to People. All 38 of us kids had to pick a topic about Alaska to research and present. I chose the Canadian Lynx and I won first place! Here are some pictures of me, my project and what my project was about.

January 28th Update
Hey guys! When I first started fundraising for my tuition, I didn't really know what to do. I was a little worried about how I would get enough money to go and I told my Mom that I didn't think I'd ever get there. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to go to Alaska. It took a lot of brainstorming and effort but I've come a long way. I found out that I've met one $1,500.0 mark for my tuition!! Now I've gotta do another $1,500.00 and I'll be almost there!!!!!!!!
